Can I lock my processed hair?

If your hair is processed, that is, permed, texturized or Jherri curled the easiest way to go natural is to clip off the processed hair and allow ones natural hair to grow back.

Can I get locks while going natural with braids?

Braids allows one the ability to grow back ones natural hair without cutting of the processed part all at once. The natural roots can be locked up as the braids grow out.

When you are comfortable with the length of your natural hair then the braids with the processed ends can be cut off.

How can I go from combed natural hair to locks?

If your hair is natural rope twisting or two strand twisting is the quickest and easiest method used to cultivate dreadlocks.

How will my hair look locked? How long will it take?

Each client hair will lock up it its own unique way. The lock that will result will depend on the texture of your hair. The time your hair takes to lock will also be unique, average time is 6-12 months.

My hair is too short to rope twist and I want locks?

If your hair is too short to be or too light to rope twist and staying the twist a better transition to dreadlocks is through comb twists.

Can I get locks in one day?

Lock extension can be termed as “instant” locks. In this method 100% human hair is used to create locks in one day.

Price is quoted when a consultation session conducted. Consultations are required to assess the volume of hair and the desired length desired. Consultation is free.

How do you groom locks?

Palm rolling is the best method to attain and maintain smooth locks. In this method the locks are sectioned by separating the loose hair or new growth around the roots to their respective loc.

At Jus Natural interlocking is done with an interlocking needle or a latch needle.

How often do I have to groom my locks?

On average most clients groom their locks every four to six weeks. We have found that each person will figure out the schedule that works best for them.
